About Us

In 1896 the residents of Clifton Heights formed two fire companies, the Fire Protective Association No. 1 and Clifton Heights Hose Hook & Ladder.  Those companies merged in 1956 to form the Clifton Heights Fire Company, which proudly protects people and property in Clifton Heights and nearby communities. The CHFC moved to its current location, 20 West Baltimore Pike, in 1959.

The all-volunteer company handles all types of fires, accidents, hazardous materials (HAZMAT) and other dangerous situations. Clifton Heights provides volunteers the state-of-the-art training and all the gear that they need at no charge to them.

Our firefighters volunteer their time to serve and, in turn, receive a sense of pride and accomplishment, along with comradery and lasting friendships. Join the brothers and sisters of the Clifton Heights Fire Company today.  YOU can make a difference to your hometown.  We provide what you need to make a difference.  Our equipment is topnotch.
